I have a few questions I have been trying to get answers to all week:

1)How do I get rid of the profile?

2)If I can't get rid of the profile, how do I get rid of identifying info so that it shows up on my resume, but not to anyone that just views my profile?

3)Are there still premium features? If so, where did they go?

4)Why can't I view my resume when applying for a job? It only goes as far as the "objective" line. Ditto for saving as a Word doc.

5)Why did you get rid of the distance feature in the job search? Also, the ability to filter jobs by how long ago they were posted?

Thank you.

1) How do I get rid of the profile?

The Profile is your account with Monster and allows Monster to give you personalized information in addition to tracking your contact information for your resume. If you want to remove the Profile, you will be removing your account with Monster.

2) If I can't get rid of the profile, how do I get rid of identifying info so that it shows up on my resume, but not to anyone that just views my profile?

Your Profile will not be viewed by anyone except you. The only way to allow an employer to see your information is to create a resume and make it public.

3) Are there still premium features? If so, where did they go?

Monster no longer offers Premium features. If you had a Premium account, your resumes and cover letters will continue to be accessible in your Monster account.

4) Why can't I view my resume when applying for a job? It only goes as far as the "objective" line. Ditto for saving as a Word doc.

This is an issue that is being solved at the moment.

Thank you for queries and for using Monster!

I think question 4 was not really answered. Is this how prospective employers are seeing our resumes? Or is this glitch only within the "Apply" section? I'd hate to think I'm ruining my chance with companies by sending them a blank resume via Monster. A response to this would be most appreciated.

I do appreciate the responses to the questions, but I have to agree that #4 wasn't entirely answered (also #5 was not addressed, but I did find a solution to that elsewhere). I've been holding off applying through this site all week, until I am sure what employers are seeing. Nobody wants to risk sending off a mostly-blank resume.

If I go to a saved search, I have the option again, of choosing jobs based on the number of days posted. However, choosing that option eliminates some of the other choices I picked. I haven't figured out what exactly. But my search gives me about 40 jobs, then when I choose "last 14 days" it goes to 400! This is not right. PLEASE fix things to work the way they used to. I can't waste time re-learning how to use a site that has worked perfectly well for YEARS, and how to get around the new limitations which are just horrible! ACK!

Also, how do I edit my work experience so that I can fix the damage that has been done? The formatting is all wrong now. I can edit every section except for that. And I STILL cannot view the resume when applying for a job. I've been unable to use the site for anything useful for over a week now.

Is there a more appropriate place where I can post these questions, where they will be answered?

Horrible, horrible, horrible. First. I have added an employer to my resume, I know, why would anyone need to do that? nevertheless I changed jobs a while back and needed to add the history to my resume. I've saved it 3 times and each time I go to apply for a job the new information is not there. The summary info changes appear but not the latest job.

Second,  when I wanted to ask a question about this issue in the forums, the only options for forum topic were related frequently asked questions about the forums, not monster itself. I agree with the other poster's on this thread, I can't trust that my application will represent me well to the employer and won't be using Monster until I can be sure that my resume is delivered with all of my information. Instead, I'll look up jobs here and then find a way to email my resume to the employer outside of Monster.

Oh you are able to add employers to your resume? I haven't yet figured out how to edit that section of my resume. I have no "edit" button on the work experience section. I don't need to add, just edit the info, as the switch caused that section to not be formatted properly. Two weeks since the switch and I have not been able to send any resumes via Monster. Fabulous.
