How do health insurance companies discriminate against people who have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome?

YES.  Asperger's Syndrome is a form of autism. 

Health insurance companies discriminate against any and all pre-existing conditions.  Asperger's kids need therapy, it's expensive, insurance doesn't want to pay.

Of course there are some policies, provided by employers, that may cover some of  the cost IF the parent was covered at the time of the child's birth.  However, switching to a new insurance plan might prove to be impossible.
