Hi GetMeOughttaHere,

Thank you for posting your resume! Here are a few ideas for improvement:

- Add a career goal. If you're still targeting medical sales, add a "headline" (above your Summary) that states this goal. You can then revise your Summary to reflect your relevant skills and other credentials. Focus on transferable skills - see this article:
When Changing Careers, Highlight Transferable Skills

- Review your work history and make sure you include relevant qualifications. If sales is your goal, write about accomplishments that are relevant, such as delivering presentations, increasing business, articulating the value/benefits of products, etc.

- Proofread your resume to make sure it's perfect. Check your use of capitalization ("supervisor" in the first line and "manage" in your first job bullet) and use manufacturers' spelling for software (e.g., ArcView).

I hope this is helpful!
Best wishes,
Kim Isaacs

take the objective statement out employers will just throw that in the garbage. i found that out in the workshops i have used a summary of qualifications or highlights that is what they want to see. save the objective statement in the cover letter and at job fairs. i heard employers say they do not want to see the objective statements in resumes anymore.

There's nothing wrong with using an objective statement, but in this case I agree with ladytiger.
As it currently stands your objective lacks originality and personality. To make an objective statement draw the attention of recruiters and managers, you need to go beyond the standard lines you see in every resume and write something new and fresh that is going to make them get interested.
