Just wanted to ask about this  since I hear it almost everywhere I go these days.  Does it really matter though?  Will  the chances that you will be hired by any canadian employer be decreased  if a resume is longer than 2 pages?   I'm usually pretty good at shortening most resumes down  but I'm not sure if I can do it  with the one that I am editing now.   Any thoughts on this topic would be appreciated overall,  thanks for your time.

There is no set rule regarding resume length, and it's possible to do very well with a 3-page resume. The best resume length depends on the specific job seeker's background, experience, and career goal. It's more important to focus on relevant content, while keeping in mind that the resume is meant to be an introduction, not a biography of everything the person has ever accomplished.
