Hi jim1174,

Thanks for posting and bumping this thread! I think your resume is well-organized and a good start, but here are a few ideas for improvement:

- Add a career goal. The reader should immediately know what type of job you're targeting.

- Tailor your summary to your relevant qualifications. If you're seeking a culinary position, I would focus on culinary skills and training. The bullets you provided are very general and could apply to almost any career field.

- Add accomplishments to your work history. Your current work descriptions emphasize your day-to-day job duties, but you can take this to the next level by including the results/outcomes of your work. Did your customer service skills help improve sales? Generate repeat customers? Attract praise and positive feedback from customers? For each of your positions, provide several examples of how your performance contributed to the operation.

One question -- did you omit your degree dates on purpose?
