Now that the pre-race warm up is in full blast, please check the site below for a review.

What the candidates don't say is as important as what they claim they will do for Americans, almost 50 million of whom have no access to affordable health care. Almost 10 million of that number are kids. They do not belong in the Emergency Room in order to get regular, preventive health care.

Then, write your soon-to-be unemployed elected officials and make it clear that you know that even working Americans need healthcare. www.Congress.org

We can do a whole lot better than this and now is the time to get informed.

Thanks for the reminder D & C.

In additon to 47+million without health insurance there are another 50+million UNDER insured.    That's one in 3 without adequate healthcare coverage, and with a recession looming and job losses guranteed for 2008, the numbers will only get worse.

The fact that turnout at the Iowa Caucas, especially among Democrats, was substantially higher than in 2004 is a clarion call.

While the are those who continue to spin and convolute the facts regarding healthcare in this country, the truth is finally being heard heard AND people are demanding a fix.

One CNN commentator said during the caucaus he had a sense of the 60s, when people were willing to take to the street to make elected officals aware of the fears and concerns.
