Hey metsgt86,
I think that you are posed with what most IT folks are problematic in with especially writing resumes; call it Resume Writer's Block. But, I'll tell you, that resume's surely range from just the simple to the very, highly complex multitudes. For example, I myself, have gone through the ringer sometimes trying to make the most perfect Resume. Well, I have produced one or two good ones in the past, but that is besides the point. iT is because, of help from the professionals, MBA, and CIOs all alike that one is able to make the perfect Resume'. Don't get me wrong. I have put complete junk out there before and I am sure you have to. But if you put your heart and soul into it, I am almost 100.1% sure that you can get the style and output that you are really looking for.
Three steps to consider:
1) Go from general to specific to get the message across
2) Make sure to use the proper headings and annotations
3) Design aspects can be a flare to the overall look and feel, but
don't overdo it, as this may be to hard to look at to the untrained eye.
-- hope you do well on your journey...!
